Barbara is a career banker, having enjoyed numerous roles in many discipline throughout her career at RBS.
She was fast tracked on to a leadership programme early in her career and this fuelled her enormous passion for creating great opportunities to unlock the potential of many staff throughout the national business.
She built a strong reputation for coaching and mentoring across a wide spectrum that often resulted in unsuspecting individuals trying new challenges that they hadn’t ever considered but on reflection were always grateful for career changing moments.
A passionate leader Barbara was often sought as the voice of reason in contentious debates, never afraid to challenge in her own inimitable style she brings a calmness and balance to the table that allows solutions to be found more readily.
A lifetime of experience in dealing with businesses from one man operations to multi million corporates has given Barbara a great sense of the drivers of business growth and well executed strategy and her drive to make a difference has resulted in business acquisitions and referrals in large numbers along the way.
She has great experience in delivering large scale change projects and regularly uses these skills and lessons in her debates with clients to add real value by challenging their own plans.
Barbara especially enjoys facilitating large events and extends this to hosting high profile charity fund raising dinners to contribute to her charity work with Breast Cancer Care. Oh and not to forget tandem sky diving to increase the impact of the fund raising.
Married with no children, Barbara is the ideal Aunt, endless ability to create fun days out with a young niece who is developing similar passions for Auntie Barbara’s ridiculous shoe and bag habit. An avid gym goer she is focussing on weight training and speed spin classes which isn’t bad for someone who can’t ride a road bike!
