Mark Evans
Mark has spent most of his corporate career with tree hugging media luvvies discussing pantone colours and emotional resonance and has somehow emerged not only unscathed but hugely commercially talented!
Since starting out flogging t-shirts to penniless students, Mark has led major clients campaigns at a number of London agencies eventually reaching the dizzy wine bar heights of Saatchi & Saatchi where he held a senior leadership position managing teams working with global clients including IBM and Canon.
Having grown bored of making vast sums of money for Messer’s S&S, he decided to try it out for himself and set up his own agency. Of course he’s convinced that his agency had an utterly unique market proposition and distinguished themselves with the creative genius of their work! All we know is that they won some cracking clients including Legal & General, Prudential, Computer Associates and Equant (now Orange Business Services) and can show how these companies prospered after working with him and his colleagues.
Living the life of a wealthy marketing entrepreneur (!) was never going to be enough for our Mark and so joining Positive Momentum has enabled him to do what he’s always dreamed of: helping companies the world over to take all the fluffy nonsense out of strategy, marketing and communications and instead focus on how clear thinking and the courage to embrace the blindingly obvious delivers tangible and significant bottom line results
Happily married for over 17 years, Mark has a teenage son and daughter who enjoy bringing him down to earth. Mark is sometimes accused of mixing work and play too much and the fact that he is a second Dan in a Korean martial art called Choi Kwang Do only rarely influences his clients to agree with him. Honest!
